Mott Roofscaping received its first Green Roof certification in 2003 and was in the first Green Roof Professional graduating class in North America. Mott Roofscaping designed and built its first Green Roof in 2004 using over 40 different varieties of plants including many types of sedums, yuccas, century plants, perennial grasses and flowers. Steve Mott is a member of the Cherokee tribe. Steve Mott gained his LEED AP status in 2009.
